PILATES - ILSE LINDEMANS
For a strong core
Pilates is a body training method developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. The exercises focus on the lower back, abdominal muscles, pelvis and glutes. In this way you develop a strong centre, which forms the basis of correct breathing, a good posture and a general physical well-being.
Anyone can do Pilates
Pilates is an effective and safe practice method that anyone can practice, regardless of their age or physical condition.
The advantages of Pilates are numerous: good posture, freer breathing, development of strong and supple muscles around the belt zone, resulting in relief or the disappearance of back complaints.
Participants should wear loose clothing. Pilates exercises are performed barefoot.
